Welcome to Earth & Sky Arts!
This site is dedicated to showcasing my torchworked art glass beads,
and explaining a bit about how they are created. Please have a look
around, and enjoy your visit!

Earth &
Sky Arts is coming out!
We're getting ready to
participate in our first art festival!
Look
for us at Blue
Dome Arts Festival in Tulsa, OK the weekend of May 15-17,
2009. We've enjoyed attending this festival for the past few
years and we're excited to be participating for the first
time.
Blue Dome Arts Festival was begun as a way to showcase the
work of local artists. That's a cause we can get behind, and
our thanks go to to the festival organizers for the opportunity
to take part in
an event dedicated
to Oklahoma art and artists.

I'll have my lampworked glass beads,
pendants, and tiny
blown vessels, along with some jewelry and other useful objects
made with my beads (be sure to check out my winestoppers - I'm really
proud of them!). Geary has been working away on his sterling silver
and other metals and has created some really awesome jewelry pieces.
It's been very hard for me to not lay claim to some of them before
he even puts them up for sale! A good friend will be sharing booth
space with us, and she'll
have ornate polymer clay dragons and other fantasy beings (some
are wearable as pendants), as well as unique ornaments and decorations
inspired by nature. I especially like her "Watcher Leaves"
series!
It'll be a great weekend
of art, music, and fun festival atmosphere in downtown Tulsa, so
come on out and see all the great art offered by Oklahoma artists!

I am going
to stick my toes in the online sales market! I've set up a store
at Artfire, a really neat new sales venue for handmade items. I
have just a teensy project to get past next month before
fully stocking my Artfire
store though...full details on that in the next update!
